Parkstone Employees Celebrate 5 Years

Parkstone Enhanced Care held a ceremony January 21, 2010 celebrating employees who have given five years of service to the facility. In recognition of the commitment demonstrated by these employees, they were each given a commemorative certificate and a Parkstone pin in the shape of a gazebo, featuring the number 5 in the centre.

“We have 107 people receiving recognition today,” said Debbie Wilson, Parkstone Administrator. “And in fact, many of you have been here longer than five years. We, as an organization, are proud that so many of you have chosen to stay here at Parkstone. This demonstrates your commitment to our clients who call Parkstone home, your colleagues, and to Shannex.”

Addressing the employees attending the ceremony, Jason Shannon, Shannex COO, credited the award recipients with helping make Parkstone what it is today.

“We are indebted to the people who have stayed with us, making this a nursing home of choice in the community,” said Shannon.

During the presentation, recipients cheered each other on as they were individually called forward to accept their certificate and pin.
