Northumberland Hall Welcomes Community

Northumberland Hall, Amherst’s newest nursing home, hosted a community open house on Friday, February 19th in advance of its opening next week. The people of Amherst and surrounding communities were invited to tour the facility and meet members of the Shannex team who will be providing care and support to seniors who will be living at the facility.

Guests were eager to take a look at the building they have watched develop over the past number of months and were not disappointed with what they saw. As they chatted over refreshments, people were impressed with the features of the facility and pleased with the philosophy of care and services that will be offered.

Shannex and Northumberland Hall are thankful to all those who were able to attend the open house on Friday. The welcome and support of the guests from the community is greatly appreciated.
