June 18, 2020

We are pleased to be safely welcoming visitors back to all of our Shannex, Parkland and Faubourg communities in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick as of this week. Our Ontario communities will open to visitors beginning on Sunday, June 21, 2020.

How to visit

Each community has a process in place that includes pre-booking a visit and complies with Public Health directives. Before you plan a visit with your loved one, please call your location to understand the process and pre-book an appointment. This will ensure you have all the information you need to be ready for your visit and we are able to control the number of visitors at the community at one time.

  • When booking a visit over the phone, we will explain our visiting process and precautions.
  • Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled visit. This allows time for us to complete an on-site screening. Scheduled visits must end on time to allow others to enjoy their scheduled visit.
  • Visitors must stay in designated spaces during their time at our communities consistent with our visiting protocols.
  • Following your visit, we will thoroughly clean all touched surfaces prior to the next family visit.

Remember to check the weather. If your visit is scheduled to take place outdoors, it may have to be rescheduled due to inclement weather. Loved ones will be contacted directly if this affects their visit and we will look to reschedule as soon as possible.

Our response to COVID-19 is evolving and these measures may change at any time. We will review daily and make modifications as necessary with the health and safety of residents as our top priority and based on directives from Public Health.

Welcome back!
